The Topeka Treasure Hunters Club has canceled our Open National Hunt that was to be held May 16, 2021 at the City Park in Hoyt, Kansas.  We had been optimistic that we would be able to have the Hunt this year as we thought the Virus would have been under control by this time.  Instead things are totally out of control.  Most all of us are still anxiously awaiting vaccination shots.  The City of Hoyt's Community Center Building has been closed since last April and currently they are indefinitely taking no reservations due to Covid restrictions.   More importantly, our concern for the health and safety of our Club members and Hunt participants far out ways any other consideration for cancelling the Hunt.  Many of our Club members and Hunt participants are in the high risk group for contracting the COVID-19 Virus.  We can not in good conscience go forward at this time as it is expected this Virus will continue to spread thru the Spring into the Summer months.

Thank you for supporting our Club over the years through your attendance of our Open National Hunt.  We look forward to seeing you next year at our 2022 Open National Hunt.

Please stay safe and healthy.
